Hello everyone.

My motherboard seems like is dead but I just want some extra help to double check if my conclusion is correct.

The essential specs are the following:
CPU: Core i5 4690 (non-overclock version)
Motherboard: ASUS B85M-G
RAM: 2 X 4GB Corsair XMS 3 1333 GHz & 2 X 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 GHz (All RAM were running @ 1333 GHz before motherboard failure)
SSD: Kingston 300V 120GB (System drive)
HDD: WD Blue 2TB (Storage drive)
Video Card: MSI GTX970 Gaming 4GB
PSU: OCZ700MXSP 700W

The Problem:
My rig still is able to power on and return a single POST beep indicating that CPU, RAM, and video card has no errors but instead of booting into bios or OS all I could see on the monitor was a black screen with a non-blinking underscore.

How I fcked up my rig:
What I have done was I installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo to my rig then after roughly an hour the fan on the cooler started making loud noise due to my bad cable management. I have once turned off my rig and opened the case without unplug the power and played around with the 212 Evo fan cable. While I was playing with I did touch the RAMs (not removing them) a bit and also power on and off in a fast pace to see would the cable still blocking the fan. Then the problem occurred.

What I have done so far but no luck:
1. Removing and reinstalling all RAMs in different slots.
2. Boot with use another sure-working PSU with only CPU, stock CPU coller, and one stick on RAM left on my motherboard.
3. Swapped CPU from i5 4690 to i3 4130 for just in case
All of the stuff I have done above returns me the exact same result which only black screen with non-blinking underscore shown on display.

After all these stuff I have concluded that my motherboard might be dead. But since I'm not a professional I want some more opinions or advises to see if there are still something I can do before I actually buy a new motherboard.

Any suggestions and advises will be greatly appreciated.
