Cloning a single HDD partition to an SSD

I have a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB that I want to use as the boot drive in my notebook. My notebook currently has a 1TB HDD with Windows 10 installed on a partition which is 180GB in size. I want to clone ONLY this partition to the SSD so that I can use the SSD to boot up. So are there any reliable methods with which I can fulfill my demands?

Macrium Reflect
Select the small System Reserved partition, AND your C partition. Deselect all other partitions on that drive.
Go.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I checked the link and it's stated there that the software works only for select Intel drives. So are you sure that this info is wrong and it'll work for my SSD too?

Thank you very much for replying.

Are you certain that this software will make my SSD bootable? As in, will it copy the MBR too? I am asking this because another software which claims to clone single partitions, EaseUS Disk Copy, can clone the partition but doesn't make the drive bootable which makes it quite useless.

Yes it does. I have used it for exactly this function.

So....
Install Macrium Reflect
Power off
Connect the SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium application
Do what it says, reading carefully. Deselect any partitions you do NOT want on the SSD.
Once it is complete, power off
Disconnect the old drive
Connect the new drive into the same SATA port the old one was in
Power up and see if it boots properly

Assuming it does, success.
Verify operation.
Maybe restart a couple of times, just to be sure it will boot from only the new SSD

Later, once you are satisfied, reconnect the old drive
Wipe it and use as desired.

Btw, the software which came with the SSD, Samsung Data Migration, clearly states that I shouldn't use access my HDD while it's being cloned. I don't understand it. Since the software runs on windows which is installed on the HDD I want to clone, doesn't it mean that my HDD is being used continuously? I am asking this since the software that you recommended also works directly on windows and not as a live iso, which I presume is the safer option.

Right. It says that because you shouldn't be doing OTHER things.
For instance...if they did not give that warning, people would be doing all sorts of weird stuff. Copy/Paste movies, installing a Steam game, etc, etc. That WILL cause weirdness.

It works. As does the Samsung Data Migration. I've used both.

Thanks for the educated responses, sir! I used the Macrium Reflect, as you suggested, and the whole process went smoothly without any hassles!
