So I just installed my EVGA 1070 SC yesterday but I'm already having some strange issues.

For reference I've got to monitors plugged into the card, the primary is connected via HDMI and the secondary via DVI. I've never installed Nvidia drivers before, so they were a clean install and they are the latest version available.

Yesterday my primary monitor(HDMI) would lose signal to the card randomly for a bout 1-2 seconds and then it would return. I couldn't find a cause for it and the windows event logs were clear to the time it happened, so I don't think it was the driver crashing or anything like that.

Then just right now when I first booted my PC my secondary lost and never regained signal, my primary lost signal during post but came back at the login screen only this is what it looked like....

The card has not been OC'd past the stock clocks, and the last time I saw something like this it was vRam related on my old 7950. So I think I might just contact Amazon and see if they can send a replacement.

Also, quick question. For those that have seen this does what I described look like a faulty card?

After a hard reboot the card is working fine now, I just got off the phone with EVGA and the guy said to setup an RMA if it happens again but if I gotta pay shipping that ain't happening, bit ridiculous to pay more when I've already paid almost $500.
