So I currently have an FX 6300 in my custom pc. I want to upgrade to an Intel, and I am willing to spend the money for a new motherboard.
I'd like to get an I5 generation Intel processor to upgrade. My range would be somewhere between 150 and 200 dollars.
I need a motherboard that is below 100 dollars and can fit at least 4 usb ports for my mouse and keyboard.
So what processor and mobo would be the best for the range I am looking for? (The 150 to 200 is for the processor only. Not both combined)
Also, if there is an I7 that I could get that would be in that range and be better than any I5 of the same range, that would be good too.
I have a GTX 750TI Superclocked, and I plan on upgrading to a 10 series. Probably a 1060 when it comes out, so I want to be sure there are no bottlenecks.
