Asus RT-AC66U making strange noises?

Hey i just bought this router yesterday and when i woke up i heard the following noises coming from it.

Asus router making noise

Asus router making MORE noise

should i go ahead and return this router or is this normal? i have to ask since its been....maybe 6 years since i last bought a router.

If your new router is making noises, return it. I've have one of the same model and it has sat unnoticed and un-thought-of, as it should, for a long time.

I just bought this router too and have the same problem, my hearing is impaired and i can't hear the sound but it drives my girlfriend nuts... To her its very high pitched and anoying, she can't stay in the room when its on. Strangely it seems sporadic, its not always on. I might return the router and get another brand.

Update:
Its during traffic, i just did a speed test and she freaked out, streaming a vid is not as intense. Oddly enough she says that during the upload part the pitch wasn't the same. So this thing is going back to the store and i will not be purchasing Asus routers again.
