Hello guys I bought my new PC week ago and last night my PC just freezed and the restart button didn't helped I had to turn the power off and then to turn the computer ON again.. Today this happened again like 2-3times. I realiesed that it can be an overheating problem. I downloaded some CPU Temp monitors and this is what I saw as a maximum temp of every core. http://prntscr.com/bqt4b5

In the right is the max temp and max value, in the middle minimum and in the left the temperature at the moment. I don't think this is normal.. I tried 3-4 programs for CPU temp and its happening again.. Sometimes when I just stay idle and do nothing just watching the temperature monitor I can see that its going up and down with like 20-30 degrees. I don't think this is normal and I can't understand what is happening.. Any suggestions ? Any ideas ?

I am using the stock cooler which came with the CPU and yeah it has a thermal paste on the heatsink. What you mean with the "Is the fan turning" ?

There is a fan mounted to the heatsink array which is mounted to the CPU. Make sure it spins when you turn the computer on. If it is not spinning, then the heatsink will not be able to cool the CPU properly.

If there is no fan then we have a problem.

No I just captured it in that moment and after gaming. Here is now when im in GTA V .. http://prntscr.com/bqumc8 when I look at the temp monitor I can see that its going up and down with 10-15 is that normal I mean how can move around just like that with 15 degrees for a second.

Temperature of the individual cores will fluctuate based on how much load they have (and not all cores are used or loaded the same) because the frequency and voltage will change. Since loads very, especially in gaming, so will the temps. But the 97C in your first screenshot is too high and your CPU is throttling.

Okay I will try that. I have one more question. When I look at the CPU Temperature Monitor is it normal to jump up and go down with 15-25 degrees within 2-3sec ?

I think you misunderstood... I meant that it shouldn't spike and fall like that unless you suddenly put a load on it (like running a stress test). But even then, the fall should be more controlled.

Okay guys I captured it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8XDHVik_tQ Don't skip just watch. Check this out and tell me if this is normal it's going from 40 to 60 within 2-3sec and its just crazy I don't know.. Im not a specialist but I don't think this is normal. I downloaded more than one applications to be sure but yeah. I am using a trial bandicam sorry for that.

Yep I've done this last night I've changed the thermal paste and set it up on spot. I can't understand why the voltages are going like that and the frequency when im not doing anything im just watching the CPU temperatures (idle)..
