but the moment i put 42 in multipliers i get BSOD.won't even pass windows 10 logo.and i must say that even when i have set 41 multipliers even then min temp is around 45C and if i try prime95 within 5-10 mins temp raises to 80C.and if i keep the test for 30 mins temp stays between 80C-87C.i know its high so i hope someone here can help me.

hal.dll
hal.dll+35f1f
this error shows bluescreen view,
after i googled it ,it shows its 124 error which means i need more vcore...so not sure how much it should add ..
so few questions

which test should i run..intel burn test or prime95?
should i try manual offset or offset?

and aint cooler master 212 good cpu cooler?

you get what you pay for. yes its a good cooler for its price but its no high end cpu cooler. You should be getting lower temps though so you might re apply thermal paste and try again.

give it more offset. you are totally fine.

Blue screen view gives the bccode and google may give you a different code for the same hal.dll cause. Get your bccode from the dump not google.

It's just odd that voltage is so high for a low speed other than getting an unlucky cpu lottery. I can get 4.2ghz on 1.2v. 1.3v should be getting around 4.5ghz. I have the 212+ and 1.35v hits 80c so temps are a bit high too.
