I have MSI GeForce GTX 950 DirectX 12 GTX 950 2GD5T OC 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support ATX ARMOR 2X Video Cardhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127905
would it be worth it to buy a second identical or just get a 256 card for the money.
I already purchased one

Solution
Like Mr.GO said wait for an 8 pin power connector version of RX 480 or wait for GTX 1060.(don't jump at 1060 at launch cause it might have some problems like RX 480 or GTX 970 did).
And by parallel cuda performance I meant using cuda cores of two cards for software acceleration(e.g. rendering).
(how to quote or use the :this guy said this thing:?)

You mean sli or just two graphics card for parallel cuda cores?
If you are thinking sli then it would be better if you could return this card and get a more powerful card instead.
