Hey there, just a quick question: does anybody happen to know when the geforce GT series changed from the Legacy style Bios to the newer UEFI setup? I'm looking to (very temporarily) invest in a Geforce GT 430 for approximately 20$, but my motherboard is older than dirt. I've heard that the gt 700's were the first to stop support for the older bios, but I'd like to double check here. The guy who said so seemed to be just throwing out a number. Thanks for any help guys!

Actually... whether the card supports UEFI or not has no bearing on it supporting the old style BIOS. They all do. I plugged a 970 into a first gen DFI 939 board.

Workstation (pro cards_) excluded.

So yeah it will work.
