Computer restarts during gameplay for some games

Hi, my computer restarts when I am playing some games, not all. When I played Overwatch and CS:GO, my computer restarts with no blue screen, but it does not happen when I am playing DOOM or One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3. I have tried many different things including reapplying thermal paste to my GPU and CPU even though they have only reached temps of 56C each. I have also tried flashing the BIOS, updating the video drivers, and reseating components.

CPU: i5 4960k
Mobo: MSI z87m gaming
Video Card: EVGA 980 Ti SC+ with backplate
RAM: 16GB DDR3 GSkill Ripjaws

different games literally load the system in different ways , some will put high draws on the GPU, others on the CPU and yet others on both.,

I did the windows files integrity check, and it seemed fine. I also tried playing CS:GO again, and it worked fine on deathmatch. I am pretty sure it will fail if i try competitive for whatever reason.
