So, I have a Athlon II X4 640 on an ASUS M2N69 AM+ motherboard. It has DDR2 RAM 2x2gb sticks installed. I have seen that the 640 is compatible with an AM3/AM3+ mobo. My first question is the 640 for sure able to run on an AM3 switching over from an AM2. My second question is if I buy DDR3 RAM does the 640 support it? Thanks
