My PC is completely functioning but I have no idea why this light is always on and what it even means.

Solution InvalidError Jul 11, 2016 Check your manual, it will tell you what the LED is for. Its purpose may even be printed on the motherboard. It may simply be the 5VSB LED - many boards have a LED simply to indicate that the PSU has power.
