Hello!
So, I have a MSI Z170A Gaming Pro on my computer and I plugged the Beyerdynamic's DT770 80ohm and the sound volume it's kinda low. The motherboard mannufacterer's claim to have an amp that can drive headphones up to 600ohm but can't drive too well my headphones. I've already tried to mess around with the software and plugged in at the rear and front as well but the sound is always low...

What should I do to improve my audio experience with this headphones?
Should I buy a decent amp or there's something on the motherboard that I can tweak to drive better these headphones?

Cumps,

Tommy

I don't use a headphone amp myself, so can't really recommend one. This looks like it has very good reviews for a reasonable price. The good quality ones are 200-1000.

Hi
Thanks for the answer. Can i plug the amp directly on my onboard card with rca to jack 3.5 cable right?
Which the headphone amp is better under 120€? So, I was thinking on buying the Fiio e09k or the Schiit Magni 2. What do you think?

The soundcard sound quality isn't bad. It's very good for an onboard soundcard but it lacks power to drive my beyers dt770 80ohm
