As the title says, ny PC crashes in dual channel. The first time I boot it up every day it will start in dual channel and within 5-30 minutes it will crash or restart. Then it will boot up as single channel.

I've had the RAMs for 1 year and they worked perfectly, 2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance. I noticed only 4 out of 8 GB were used 3 days ago. Resource Monitor and My Computer Properties identify that there are 8 GB installed but only 4 usable.

What is the problem? I haven't tried to reseat them yet. The crashes started 1 day after I had opened my case to clean the inside and the CPU fan and heatsink, however, before doing anything I had removed the RAMs.

Any help?

1| Please pass on your full systems specs inclusive of your OS.

2| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?

3| It sounds like you're on Windows 10, if so then you should try and perform a repair install and see if all your ram is recognized.

4| If that fails, try running memtest86 for at least 10 passes per stick per slot to rule out if the slot, stick or both are faulty.
