Good Morning. I've been trying to add an additional 4GB of ram to my Dell Inspiron n5040. I've ran the Crucial scan for memory and went to the Dell specs. I've tried both the sticks ( Kingston 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model KV ) ( 4GB 1X4GB DDR3-1333 Memory Dell Inspiron 15 (N5040) ) The same thing happens when I install the new stick the laptop just keeps rebooting. If I remove the memory which was installed and try the new stick the same thing happens with either of the 2 mentioned above, when I turn it on the screen goes to a red/white spec flashing screen and never makes it past that . This morning I ran Speccy anf this was the results. Can someone please help me out ?
