I want to buy a new CPU i7 6700k with a new MOBO Asus B150-Plus, my actual cooler doesn't fit on the any of those new sockets. I have been thinking with one is better, those on vertical that stay with the back to the MOBO like a Arctic Freezer 11 LP or those which stay on horizontal with the upwards to the case and downwards to the MOBO like a CoolerMaster Hyper 103. Which one will do the work better ? If I take the Artic Freezer it will keep the CPU cold enough or do you recommend me something else ?
BTW My case is a Sharkoon BW9000-W ATX.

Solution
Depends mainly the usage (work only? gaming? both?) and if you want to OC the CPU in the future. If you want to OC, then if that 500W psu is certified or maded by a trusted brand, it will handle it without problem.

If you're gamer, you will need add a GPU and, again, if you want to OC CPU & GPU you will need higher wattage (this can depend which GPU you selected).

The problem is that I currently own i5 2300 with a GTX 1080 FE and got really bad results by this I mean bottleneck, it doesn't meet the requirements for the card, my hard drive started doing some stuff that I'm not happy about so here I need to go for a new one. I want to keep my computer strong for the next 5-6 Years.
This will be the specs:
CPU: Intel Core I7 6700K 4.0Ghz(NEW)
CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 11 LP or CoolerMaster Hyper 103 (Not sure which one)
MOBO: Asus B150M-PLUS D3 LGA1151 or Asus Z170-P D3 LGA1151 (Not sure which one)
RAM: HyperX FURY 2x8GB DDR3L 1600MHz(NEW)
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 8GB Founder Edition(OWN IT)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD20ZRZ 2TB Sata III(NEW), Transcend 128GB SSD(OWN IT)
Case: SHARKOON BW9000-W ATX(OWN IT)
PSU: Antec 650W(NEW)

See and tell if this will do.

OK, sure I will go for the Z170P-D3 and instead of a 2TB Z* I will take a X* with 1TB, I already have a Samsung Spinpoint F3 7200rpm in my rig. The i7 6700K it will stay because my work already gave it to me, its here by my side in the box still, the only thing that I would want to see is which CPU cooler should I take. Now that I was thinking, will a 500W or 650W be enough for the PC ? I already have a 500W in the PC on my work so I was thinking to take him instead of buying a new PSU,
