Hi, I've been having problems with my PC for the last few months and am at the end of my patience, I upgraded my graphics card a couple of months ago and thats when the problems seemed to start, whenever I play any games, after 5 minutes to an hour, it just cuts out, the screen goes black and it reboots, the temperature remains at around 35-45C
Any help would be much appreciated
My Specs are Intel Core i5 4590
Cpu cooler Zalman CNPS10X Optima
OS Windows 8.1 64 Bit
Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Motherboard
8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance RAM (2x4GB)
Seagate 1TB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 MSI gpu
550W Corsair VS psu

Solution

There's your problem. I assume your old graphics card didn't consume as much power, so with the new graphics card whenever you pull more power than the PSU can safely handle (can either happen 5 minutes or 5 hours into a game) your PC shuts off.
