Is a thermaltake 700w bronze efficiency psu good for the build? :-
i5-6500/gtx970(soon gtx 1060 or maybe even 1070)/16gb ddr4/msi-h110m pro/16gb ddr4

Solution
GPU - ~150watt
CPU ~100Watt
everything else ~50 watt
if you overclock, add another 100watt
so you are looking at 300-400watt maximum power consumption under some unrealistic synthetic benchmark.
A gaming power consumption will be under 300watt.
Those PSUs will be able to deal with such load for long run.

Try to get one from either Tier 1, 2, or 3 from this list. Thermaltake sales some decent power supplies and some junk power supplies it depends on the model number.
550 Watts form this list will power what you have listed just fine. Get a bit higher watts if you wish but 550 will work.
