Is there a way to connect an Intel SSD 750 series SSD with the PCI Express 3.0 x 4 connection to USB? I can't find a cable or hard drive enclosure that will do it. I want to transfer files off of it as a stand alone drive, not part of a computer. The connection is not a standard SATA connection but uses a SFF-8482 type connection...which is causing the issue.

I doubt that you will find such an adapter, as the whole point of the SFF-8639 (U.2) connector is to increase bandwidth over that attainable with SATA. The SFF-8482 is an SAS type connector that will also allow use of a SATA drive.

AFAIK the 750 only comes in the U.2 (SFF-8639) and AIC (PCIe) types.

Your only option is to use it as intended connected to PCIe or M.2 (with a U.2 to M.2 adapter) depending on which model you actually have.

Sounds like you've got a 750 with the U2 connector. There are adapters to get that U2 to an m.2 connector. Beyond that you may be able to find an m.2 adapter to USB. Not sure; this is just off the top of my head.
