I'm using a Logitech M235 mouse. I think its foot is made of teflon, though I'm not sure. It is very smooth on a sunmica table surface, but the resistance increases and accuracy decreases on a cloth surface.

I would like to know what type of mouse pad I should get, a cloth one or a foam based one. I want the mouse to glide very fast with lowest resistance. Not exactly looking for gaming grade mouse pads, just want a surface where my mouse won't face huge resistance. Please help!

Solution
Get a plastic one with rough surface. It's counter intuitive but the plastic pads with smooth surface give more resistance. If it has to be a cloth pad than get the one that's being advertised as a "speed" mouse pad.
