Hi all,

Like 2 days ago I stepped out of my room for a while and left my PC idle while out in the kitchen my power triped for like 1 second. When I came back to my room I tried to turn on the PC and it won't turn on

I did not smell any burning this is a custom build and was working perfectly until this. I do have my PC connected to a power surge also but I think my PC was the cause of the power trip. I tried plugging the PC into the wall socket with no luck

The PC is not receiving any power as I plugged in my mouse and it's not even lighting up while the PC is off like it use to.

I did check for blown capacitors on the motherboard but everything seemed fine I did not smell any smoke when I came back into the room. Everything is still under warranty

PC Specs:

PSU: XFX TS 650w gold

Motherboard: b150m-d3h- ddr3

GPU: Msi r9 390

CPU: i5 6500

Any insight or more tests I could perform would be grateful

Solution
Try leaving the 24 pin power cable and a case fan connected to the motherboard. Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button. See if the case fan starts spinning.
