I have a MSI 970 motherboard. I am going to use the hyper X fury 2x8 (16 gb). Can my motherboard dual channel, if so which DIMM slots do I put it to?

Yes dualchannel is possible and i would use the second and fourth slot from the cpu.The manual should have something to say about it as well so maybe look through that as well.
