Painting My Graphics Card...

Hello!

I am thinking of purchasing a new, Nvidia reference graphics card soon, to fit inside my white/black build. I am thinking of painting the card and possibly sanding down the 'GEFORCE GTX' logo until white. This should leave me with a white logo and the parts which were silver, now a matching white colour.

I have watched tutorials, such as TechSource's and it doesn't look too difficult, or too dangerous as you aren't spraying anywhere near any electronics... But I'd like to hear some first hand comments!

Should I paint my graphics card? Is it really that dangerous? Is the sanding of the logo as simple as it appears to be? Can the logo be sanded off (I've heard stories about the new logos being rubber rather than plastic)? Should I buy a second hand card to try it out and use that until I buy another, better GPU?

Do you have any tips?

Thank you very much!

It is totally safe. I watch tech source too. If u want black and with just make sure you sand the geforce logo down to the point of white. I f u sand it too much it could turn black
