I'm having some issues with my front audio jack, when I plug in my headset or speakers there's some weird static coming out, it only happens on the front audio jack, the back one works fine, does anyone have any tips?
Case Nox Pax usb 3.0
Board: asus p8p67 rev 3.0

Solution
There are 2 common standards for front Audio on a PC case and many cases have both connectors on the end of the cable so you can use whichever fits. You could have a look and if that's the case try the other plug.

The BIOS often also has a setting for which Audio mode because most of them can support either type and it needs to be set to the same as the connector you are using.

Otherwise the physical socket on the front might be faulty or you might be getting interference form nearby USB cables and there's not much you can do about that short of replacing the case or using a drive bay panel that has an Audio connector if you can find one.

My Solution personally is to use USB headsets, they tend to have more volume available as well...
