Greetings everyone, I'm having a lot of issues with the mentioned laptop. Despite being supposedly, a gaming laptop, the graphics card is running VERY poorly. I can't even run LoL decently at medium settings, and am currently at a loss to what to do. Here's what I've tried so far:

-It's been acting like this since day 0 from a clean install

-Already uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers, several times, 4 clean installs (Win7 Ultimate x64) and following the driver order specified on this thread:

http://www.dell.com/support/Article/us/en/19/266457/EN#Install-Dell-drivers

And also on this one:

http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/how-to-clean-windows-7-install-driver-install-order-guide-for-alienware-systems.556721/

-Uninstalled and reinstalled Alien OSD, it claims "your graphics solution is automatically configured for optimal performance

-Tried forcing system to use NVidia card by disabling integrated graphics, screen goes black and nothing else

-Benchmarks give me real low grades, MSI Kombustor reports using the dedicated graphics card, but doesn't get past 7 fps on most tests.

-Already opened laptop, I see no excessive amount of dust, and nothing blocking the fans. Checked RAM as well, seems to be working fine.

-Tried with both the drivers provided by Intel and NVidia and the ones provided by Dell; neither is showing any difference in performance

-Tested graphics card and fan with both boot-up test tools and alien autopsy diagnostic tool, extended test (100 minutes long) and graphics card is supposedly working fine.

Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this? I am at a loss at what to do

So... anyone can shine a light on this one? Any at all? If it helps, when I force-disable Intel Drivers, my 580 card is not detected by any part of windows but device manager. Windows evaluation returns an error and dxdiag sees no manufacturer, serial, 3D capabilities, etc.

Ok after A LOT of researching, trial and error, I have narrowed it down to the card remaining idle even when asked to perform. It will plain and simply stay stuck at 74MHz instead of the 750 it's supposed to deliver, so of course performance suffers accordingly. Can I PLEASE get any help at this? Has anyone encountered any such problem?
