My mother board is the Pegatron 2a84h and the memory specs are: 4 * 240-pin DDR2 DIMM slots Supports Dual Channel DDR2 800 MHz non-ECC , un-buffered memory (Max 4GB). When it says Maximum 4gb, does that mean the maximum RAM I can have is 4gbs, or does it mean maximum of 4gbs per stick?

it supports 4gb maximum of ddr2 dual channel...that means, if u have 2 slots then u can have 2 x 2gb sticks...and if u have 4 slots then either 4 x 1gb stick in 4 slots or 2 x 2gb stick in 2/4 slots...
