Dedicate card to physx

Hello everyone. I am currently running 3 gtx 980s on my pc. I am very new to the computer world so I am not familiar with the option to dedicate a card to PhysX. I see I have the option but is it something I should do? What does it do exactly?

Dedicate Physx to GPU.It will have better performance.Physx is a particle simulation software used by CUDA enabled nVidia gpu's. It enhances particle processing in certain games like batman arkham series or mafia series. So using it definitely adds much more realism to the game. Elements like cloth, hair, dust,etc are much realistic with Physx ON. Watch some YouTube videos of new games with Physx and you will know the difference.

True, but unfortunately outright performance is on a game by game basis.
Tom's had an article awhile back with a rundown on options.

Seems all the games they tested liked something different.
Some ran better in SLI with no physix, some with physix.
There's no single best configuration.
