Hello,

I recently have started looking into building my first PC. This PC would be used for gaming. Nothing too graphics intensive normally but i would like to have the ability to play those games if needed/wanted and want to future proof for the next couple of years. However mostly MMO's will be played on this computer. I would also like to use this PC to record/livestream and edit the OBS videos. Prior to researching for parts i had very little knowledge of the hardware so i spent some time and pestered some old guild mates of mine to kinda answer some very basic questions. However after awhile i think i have got some good parts picked out and it should be able to do 4k. So here is my parts list. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RW7w6X

I do plan on doing some upgrades once i can afford it. The current $1900ish price is basically my entire budget. However i plan on getting another 16 gigs of ram to make it 32 gigs total. Another 2 TB for my hard drive for a total of 4 TB when i can afford it. I would like to get another 2 of those monitors to get a triple monitor set up going. Now we come to a few questions i have.

1.) When i have the money should i replace the graphics card i have with 2 MSI GeForce 980 Ti 6GB for 2 way SLI, or should i keep the graphics card i have and get 2 more of them for a 3-way crossfire, and yes i realize i would need to get a better power supply if i did the latter.

2.) Will that CPU cooler keep my PC cool enough even with the future planned upgrades. Also are more fans in my computer case needed atm or can i get by with the ones that come with the case

3.) Will everything i currently have chosen fit in that case without having to mod the case, also will the future planned upgrades. both the 2 msi geforce cards or 3 radeon r9 options. more ram and memory fit in it with a higher power supply.

4.) Finally a few really basic/stupid questions but i'm not super knowledgeable when it comes to hardware so i better ask. I'm going to use a headset all the time. Do i need a sound card or does sound already come with the motherboard. Also is this computer wifi capable or would i need to get a wireless adapter. Finally i assume any usb mouse and keyboard will work, even the one i got from like a 5 year old computer i bought at best buy.

5.) Finally overall how is my pc suited to the original goal in the first paragraph. and is it future proof for awhile.

Thank You so much if you got this far into the post. I really appreciate if you took the time to not only read but respond to somebody who is just trying to make sure their first attempt at a pc build goes well and not end tragically or in frustration. Also do not worry i will not try to build it all by myself, i will have someone right next to me who has built a few pc's before.

Spending way too much, on some components, at the cost of GPU performance. Also, 4k is pretty demanding. You will definitely need an SLI setup, if wanting to run at max settings. Honestly, I would recommend going with 1440p. 4k gaming is still quite expensive, and it would allow you to have a CPU better suited to recording/livestreaming.

If you really want to stick with 4k, then this would work. You will want another GPU, though, for SLI.

For your bottom list would replacing 2 1070 GPU's with 2 R9 390X's work for 4k as well?

The 1070's would be quite superior. You would need to spend more, for a larger power supply, also. 390x's are quite power hungry. The problem with running multiple cards, is not all games support it, and games that do can suffer from microstuttering. I still think you will probably be better off with 1440p. The 1440p monitor, that I picked out, is also an IPS panel, your 4k is not. Also, the 5820k is superior for your recording/livestreaming ambitions.
