I bought a ASUS Z170 Pro gaming motherboard and I am planning to get a headset (Astro A40).
As the head set has 7.1 Surround sound. I would want to know whether the mother does support if I were to use the on board soundcard.
My consideration is whether to get a mixamp with the headset as i do not want have duplicate functions.
