Computer Shut Off and Won't Turn Back On

Hey there guys/girls,

I was just sitting on my PC and was playing a game (Specifically Overwatch), and mid round out of nowhere my computer just switched off as if it had been unplugged. The actual scenario of it being unplugged isn't possible as all the plugs and cables are far away from anything that could actually pull them out and I checked all the cables afterwards and nothing was unplugged.

I tried turning it back on and nothing starts. The LED's don't turn on, the fans don't spin. Nothing happens.
I figure it's probably a Power Supply issue.

Thing is though, when you plug in the power cable and switch it on, a little green light shows up on the Motherboard to show that it is receiving power. But the computer just won't turn on.

So I'm really stumped at what this could be and this is actually quite stressful for me.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't include my specs list since the only notes I had of it were on the computer that died. -__-

I can't believe this actually worked lmao.

Could you please explain why this worked just for future reference?
Thanks :)
