Hi All...

Am planning to install Hyper 212 evo, as the stock cooler is too noisy.
Doubt: Will it interfere with RAM Modules Heat Sinks or any other obstacle ?

My configuration:
CPU: AMD FX 8350
Mobo: ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (8x2) (On its Way for delivery, Not yet Installed)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4x2) (Currently Installed)
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870 DD 1GB
Case: Crosair Carbide 500r
Displays: 2 x Full HD

Primary Intention is to get rid of the stock coolers noise. Not that much interested in overclocking.
Other alternatives are welcome too... budget is not a problem but I prefer more or less the same price around of Hyper 212 evo.

Solution

Yep thats the one. Its a very good cooler, so if you can accept the extra cost over the 212 evo then it should be fine.

I intend to use all 4 RAM Sticks... as I work a lot on Adobe CS 6 in multi monitor setup, so cant run low on RAM.
And thats the reason I ordered Vengeance Pro, which is shorter than normal vengeance RAM Sticks.

Admirable

as I said, from the specs that I read the CPU cooler shouldn't cover up any of the ram slots if you mount it with the fan facing the ram slots.

Phanteks TC12DX. I used to have one, very good air cooler and well designed.

Bit more expensive than the 212 evo, but better performance, better looks and very good compatability with even high profile ram.
