My gpu is a couple of weeks away and I noticed the cpu I have bought has integrated graphics. Is it possible to do a first boot using integrated graphics and be able to access the bios ect. I'm asking because I see people not able to access the bios using integrated graphics. If HDMI is the problem would DVI fix this issue?

Mobo : Asrock H97M PRO 4
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690

Solution
Should HDMI or DVI cable have to be plugged into your motherboard to your monitor, yes you can boot using integrated and use your pc on the integrated until your graphics card arrives. Integrated graphics or dedicated has nothing to do with accessing your bios.
