Can I reuse this CPU?

I am trying to build a gaming pc and I was wondering if I could reuse my Intel Core i5-4460s in it. The CPU hasn't been used for anything more than everyday computing (YouTube, Facebook etc.) and some low-end games (Geometry Dash, Subnautica etc.)
I'm on a budget and I don't want to spend money on a CPU if I don't need to.

That CPu is not ideal fot that task. If all you own is the CPu, i would sell it and get on Skylake as even an i3 6100 will outperform it in games.
Also, the RX 470 coming out in a week or so will offer better performance for the price of teh 960 or less.

I was thinking of a ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 STRIX Direct CU II Graphics Card but I haven't really thought of anything else to go with it. What parts would you recommend if I wanted to play some fairly intense games (ARK, in particular) on a very tight budget.
