I am looking to cool my AMD FX 8370 with a watercooler, and I need something that will fit my case at the same time (I've been Googling and some people have problems with fittng these guys in their case). My case is a LEPA C308 with the stock left side (which has two spaces for 120mm fans):

www.lepatek.com/eng/product_content/2/1/55/#produkte

Key factors of my setup:

-AMD FX 8370 unlocked
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
-MSI GTX 680 TwinFrozr III 2GB
-MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition MoBo
-2 120mm Theraltake Riing fans for air intake, 1 120mm Cooler Master Jetflo for rear exhaust, no fans on the top or side panel (yet).

Cooling is great, but I don't like the temperatures on the processor. Its not that bad, as it sticks to high 50s and low 60s if the game is too demanding, but with Prime 95 it will not go above 47°, which isn't bad.

I was considering a Corsair Hydro Series H110, but didn't see them mention AM3+?

Any tips? And where would the radiator go?

Unless you go with a custom loop there isnt much you can do. you have a 120mm front, top, and back so you really cant look for anything bigger then a 120mm radiator. The side i would very highly recommend not doing, I've done it on a custom build and its not fun trying to open the case to fix something inside the computer.

Your case has the room so you could move up to a cryorig h7 or D15 both of which will perform as well as a AIO cooler. If your looking for a custom loop i would recommend an external 240mm radiator mounted to the top of the case.

Honestly I think the AIOs look ugly and very dull for my interior, but I do want to overclock in a future, just haven't considered it with the Hyper 212.

Also most threads suggest not going over 62° - 66° C for this CPU, and "Evolve" (which is now free) can really push it around those temps.

Why does the reply button disappear and reappear?

@faalin, I did research on those heatsinks and they look similar to the Evo, so I don't know if they will allow for future overclocking.

Price doesn't matter to me, I just want something that performs very cool, and can fit in my case as well as allow for overclocking as needed.

look through these https://www.google.com/search?q=cooler+master+hyper+212+evo+vs+noctua+nh-d15&biw=1920&bih=956&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjG6-CWnPDNAhWM1CYKHYgXDKUQsAQIOg&dpr=1#imgrc=_ Most of them will show the D14/D15 cool way better they the 212 evo

I was actually considering the Nocturna in the beginning as I have read good reviews on their 3000rpm fans and the quality of their thermal paste, but went with the 212 since at the time I wasn't planning on overclocking.

I did however realize my issue. I recently changed my fan to be on the opposite side of the rear exhaust to stop them from suffocating eachother. I realized yesterday that the fan was pointing backwards (pushing air to the front of the case). Fixed it to the proper way and now temps stay around 45° Celsius with Prime95 and OCCT. Even games and gaming do not surpass 50°C now.

My next question would be, if I wanted to switch to watercooling, I have seen the NZXT Kraken with a single fan, would it be good enough for overclock?

If not, how would I go about the custom loop part?
