My mother board is an MSI Z170-A PRO Intel Z170 S 1151 DDR4 ATX Motherboard

My PSU is an EVGA 750 W GQ Series ATX Modular Power Supply with Active PFC

With everything considered such as cables E.G will they work together or will it some how
not work?
Probably a stupid question but I normally just buy a whole new PC but this is the only time ive actually thought about making my own one so I dont want things to go wrong with it.
Thanks in advance

I'm guessing you mean the i7 6700k. An i7 will last you longer than an i5, but, as of today, there isn't any benefit in gaming unless you also stream/record.
Regardless of what you choose, get the latest gen. So no I7 4790k.
As for ram, for gaming, teh sweetspot would be 3200Mhz DDR4. Get 16 gigs.

Thanks man and one more thing that I am not too concerned about but i might as well ask, the CPU i am looking to get is an I7 6600k or an I7 4790k and the GPU that i have already got is a GTX 1070, In your opinion do you think that the CPU will cause any performance drops to the GPU or am I all good to go with that.
Will the CPU fit in the Mother board without any inserting problems.
The GPU as well for the matter of fact.
What's the best/ Cheapest gaming RAM I can get that will suit all the components and what is the maximuim amount I can get?
Thanks in advance
