That would be quite a big bottleneck, anything by AMD really would "bottleneck" the RX 480+ (or 970). It will support it if your PSU can (is good and can supply enough power!) and if it'll fit in your case.

Im currently running :-
AMD A8-5600k
RX480 8g
16g RAM
120 SSD

My PC now is superb! Play most game at maximum setting 1080 resolution.
Before I upgrade to RX480, I often feel lag when I play game. But now, say bye bye to lag.
I recommend you rx480 and I think my current processor is enough for me unless you want to go higher resolution like 4K resolution.
Don't worry! Just go ahead RX480.
