Can I use an moca adapter to power a wireless access point?

Hello,

I'm looking to increase wireless signal coverage in my upstairs room.

Downstairs in our hall cupboard we have our router.
Connected to that router is a hirschmann moka 16 adapter which sends the ethernet signal through the coax system to my room's hirschmann moka 16 adapter, that's how I get my PC's wired signal.

I was wondering if I am able to put an ethernet cable between my upstairs Moka 16 adapter and the LINKSYS WAP300N to create a wireless accesspoint in my room.

Thanks in advance for the help.
