looking for help with a gaming build i wanna use a gtx 1080 and gonna buy everything now besides that and would like help setting up a build for 1200ish for everything besides the graphics card anyhelp would be appreciated

Additionally I suppose we should also ask how complete of a build? Does this 1200 cover keyboard, mouse, monitor and OS as well as the prerequisite motherboard, CPU, RAM, cooler, various HDDs and SSDs, PSU, and case. Though increasingly rare, is an optical drive needed?

We in the UK may as well adopt that as our currency...

This is kind of stupidly overkill but it fits perfectly into your budget. If you want to save some money I'd go for a 6700 or 6700K and an air cooler.
