Hi guys! I just built a new rig and want to run 4 monitors. 3 is working just fine, but i dont get the 4th one to work. Can't detect or see it anyhow.

Asus Maximus 8 ROG motherboard
and i have 2x ASUS R9 390 Strix 8GB videocards
64GB G.Skill RAM
i7-6770k
2SSD-s
H110 GTX water cooler

I've chatted and talked to ASUS on the phone but no one seemed to help me...

Solution
Oh yeah, yours is a bit different than mine.

You have
1 HDMI
3 DP
1 DVI

So using 1 HDMI, 1 DVI, and 2 DP (with DVI or HDMI dongles) would work great!

Hmm, i have 4 running on mine...

What ports you using?

DVI, DVI, HDMI for my triple monitor eyefinity.

DP for my 4k TV

Runs all 4 at the same time without problem.

Are you running 2 video cards? What kind is your DVI? Is it the - or the +?

By video ports u mean display ports?

Doesn't matter if you're using one card or two for this situation.

You can only use the ports on the top card.
So when i say DVI, DVI, HDMI, and you ask + or -... well its BOTH, as there are only 2 DVI on the primary card.

You can't have two DP as the card only has one DP slot, unless you're daisy chaining, which i don't think you are.

So get some adapters and make sure all 4 monitors are plugged into only the top card.

There is only 1 dvi slot on my video card. So should i get 2 display port to dvi adapters? Have 1 monitor with dvi and 1 with hdmi plugged in?

Yes! Exactly! I bought 2 DP to HDMI adapters let's see if it works!

Set it to 'extend desktop' maybe?
It is black though right, not off? So it's getting a signal and must be a setting somewhere.

Having that many monitors can be annoying.
