I am building a PC and am over budget so would have to wait till after the holidays to get it but would want to play over the holidays and would prefer not to downgrade.

Does anyone know if I would be able to get any good deals on PC parts during prime day as I am a member.

These are the parts I am looking at but am happy to change if there is a good deal.
Intel i7 6700k
in win 503
Gtx 1070
Sandisk Ultra II SSD 480 GB (on a deal at the moment)
WD 1TB
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard
any semi(or fully) modular power supply around 750w.

I just can't seem to find any deals apart from on storage for PC parts (I know there won't be deals on all items).

Thanks.

Solution
Absolutely no way to know, until things start appearing.
But I wouldn't count on any specific parts.

Go to Amazon
Click on the Prime Day ad
See all deals
Select Computers & Accessories
Weep over the selection of trivial junk

There's been some controversy about the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming and quality control complaints even though i've used it before and seen no issues from it.
I'd go with something like the MSI Z170 Gaming Pro Carbon, or the Z170 Krait Gaming x3, as both are good quality and reliable.
You will want to upgrade to a 2TB HDD, as AAA games have high file sizes nowadays, around 100GB in the case of GTA V, so get a WD Black 2TB. :)

Typically you only need a 250GB SSD, and the one you have selected does not have great performance.
Go for the Samsung 850 Evo 250GB model, cheaper and better performance.

Thanks I will have a look into the motherboards you suggested and will go for the 2 TB. I was going to go for the samsung 250 but i just saw that one on sale but ill go for the samsung then.

Haha good luck, let us know if theres any discounts you're not sure about, and send us your build before you buy. Doesn't matter what time, i'm in AUS, and someone else will be in the US, so 24/7 pretty much. :)

Turns out it was all hyped up and was actually <edit>. The only deals on computer parts apart from storage was 1 gtx 970 (MSI gaming). They also put up the price slightly on most of the products before it went on sale so there wasn't many sales.

Thanks for your help and I love this, When your CPU cooler is filled with salt water, you know what they're trying to tell you.

The 1 or 2 items I was looking at had 1 hour till the deal and they put up the price so when the sale was on on that item it lost about £5-15. Also they calculated the sale percentage from the original price so if it had a 20% off before prime day and had 30% of on prime day it had 50% wich made me think it was really cheap.

the only computer parts on sale were hhds and ssds (only the old and not as popular ones) and 1 graphics card.

:)
No problem!
Let me know if you have any other concerns with your build.
