Im planning on buying this mobo http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02014355, and an i7 860. Im planning to reuse 8gb of my kingston hyper x fury 1333 dual channel memory. But i read some where about compatiblity issues about it only supporting single sided ram. is this true? just making sure and is this a good setup paired with a gtx 950 or will there be bottlenecks somewhere?

Solution
No, that is not true. Follow the manufacturer's directions

Memory upgrade information
Memory upgrade information:

Supports DDR3 DIMMs only
Dual channel memory architecture
Four DDR3 DIMM (240-pin) sockets
DIMM types:
PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
PC3-8500 (DDR3-1066)
Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
Supports up to 16 GB on 64-bit PCs
Maximum memory only if using 4GB DDR3 DIMM modules.

Nothing says single sided RAM. By the by, single sided RAM can have RAM chips on both sides. Just something to wrap your head around.

No compatibility or bottleneck issues.
