Hows it going guys. Unfortunately not very good for me. My $140 Corsair K70 Mechanical keyboard is having problems. I recorded a video of the problem occurring. Click here for link. Notice the window sound every time the LEDs come on and shut off. When this is happening I have zero functionality of the keyboard. It also causes lag on my computer whenever it disconnects/reconnects. This problem has persisted for about 3-5 months now but up until last night it wasn't really a big deal as it only happened once every couple of days. But now its happening every couple of minutes. Last night my mouse started bugging out (scroll wheel). At first I thought it was my keyboard so I unplugged my keyboard and other devices for good measure but left my mouse plugged in. This confirmed that it was a problem with my mouse so I plugged everything else back in including my keyboard. This is when my keyboard problem started occurring much much more frequently than before. I have a feeling though that I might be having problems with my USB ports but I doubt it. I'm going to test my keyboard on my laptop and see if the problem persists there. This would rule out my USB ports being the issue. Nonetheless I need to get down to the bottom of this and I feel like you guys can help. My keyboard disconnected atleast 10 times while I was writing this :??:

The video seems to be like you're on Windows 7 and to that effect I apologize if I'm wrong but you didn't state that in your post. You can try and reinstall your chipset drivers. I'd also go into Device Manager and see if there are any devices flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. To rule out faulty peripherals you should try and use a non backlit keyboard/standard USB keyboard and see if the issue presents itself. If not then you should perhaps RMA your peripherals.

You may also suffer from a corrupt OS and/or drivers.
