5 Pin case fan won't turn on

My case fan will not start spinning, it's a 5 pin plugged into a 4 pin but one of the sockets on the case fan seems to be empty, so i'm confused why it isn't working. Other fans that i've tried on it worked.

1| Your post is vague, can you please state the make and model of your fan?
2| Can you please pass on yoru full system's specs?
3| 5 pin fans generally cannot be connected to a 4 pin fan header unless you've forcefully put it on there. If you have then please step back from that procedure since it can cause an issue if they are in the wrong place.
