Hello, all. Thank you for taking time to help; I surely need it.

I wish to build an i7-6700 (non-k) machine with a gtx-970 GPU, a single 1TB HDD, Windows 10, and 16 GB DDR4 ram. I have located all the parts I need for this $1000 budget machine, but I am fairly overwhelmed with motherboard selections. I located three different H170 boards I like, but the reviews on them can be somewhat scary, though most are quite positive (Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte). I have included the URLs for the three boards below for your convenience.

My question is this: of these companies, which is known to be the most user-friendly (customer service, bios operations, reliability, ease of set-up, etc.) for a first-time builder? The reviews on the ASUS board seem to be the most positive, and I do like the EZ Update function the ASUS board claims to have (particularly since I am new to building).

I don't know enough to make an educated decision, so I hoped to appeal to your expertise in this matter.

Thank you very much.

Here are the three boards I am considering---but please, if you know of a better option (even if it is a Z170 board), I am all ears. The choices are staggering, and I really don't know enough at this point.

I would suggest you to go with 1st choice. As I said in other post ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING is best for you. It is a good alternative to the more expensive ROG boards, and the Z170-A. Even it is also nice mobo with led, without any additional tpu epu switches for additional confusion.
