Any reason to upgrade my motherboard

Current Motherboard: ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard B85M-G R2.0
I am currently in the process of upgrading my pc from a gtx 960 with a i5 4460 to an i7 4790k and a gtx 1070. I am just wondering about using my fairly budget motherboard on higher end hardware. Is there any reason I would want a different motherboard?
