What things must be kept in mind while purchasing a SMPS for a PC ?

I was going to buy GeForce GT 710 Graphics Card, but then i found out that it requires 300w SMPS and i have Bestec ATX0180D5WA which has only 180w. So I was thinking about buying a new SMPS "Zebronics 450 Watt Value Plus Power Supply SMPS". But i want to know will this support my motherboard and graphic card ?and what are the things that should be kept in mind while purchasing a smps ? i have MS-7525 (BostonL) motherboard !

That bestec and zebronics unit is expensive paper weight.
