Looking at other peoples' GTX 1070 Need for Speed videos, they seem to be getting waaaaay higher fps than I am getting...

Here is a video link :

Am I crazy or is this actually low fps? I drop down to 60 fps at the 3 minute mark. No video with a GTX 1070 running Need for Speed dropped down that low, not even with a 970. Can someone help. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled drivers with Guru3D countless times..

Sorry bro, for some reason I missed the email notifying me of your reply. Yes, I watched the video and there is not much I can say. What monitor are you using? If it is a 60hz monitor then FPS higher than 60 is simply being wasted.

What CPU and HDD do you have? It can be that you experience the drop in FPS when you enter a new area of the game and the CPU/HDD need to load the new data and this causes lag, which has nothing to do with your GPU.

Edit: Ah, I missed you mentioning it happening at 3min mark, can it be cooling? How hot is the GPU running? You may need to look at your case airflow? I have no idea how it is but it can be the cause if it is bad.

My specs are in the description of that video. I am pretty sure they are adequate enough to handle the GTX 1070 perfectly fine. Also, it's weird, the GPU usage fluctuates like crazy.. It stays at a solid 60% then jumps to 80% than back to 60%... The temp stays at a cool 77 degrees Celsius and the CPU stays at 68 degrees Celsius. I really don't understand why this is happening...

Does the FPS remain at around 60 after 3min, or does it go back up at some point?

Can you please watch the video? I know that sounds like too much, but can you? I don't know how to really explain exactly how the FPS is fluctuating and stuff.
