hi guys ,

now i've decided to build a new PC and i'm new to this so i asked a friend for a help to build for me a mid. rage gaming PC and he recommended the following for me :

intel core i3 6100
ram kind furyx 8g
cooler master k380 K-series Mid tower case + extreme power plus 500W PSU
WD Caviar blue WD10EZEX 1TB sata 7200 RPM 64 MB cache HDD
MSI B150 Bazooka D3 socket LGA 1151 motherboard + VGA GTX 950 or RX 480

i went for a computer shop to ask for prices and he advised me to buy the HP z600 work station " used condition " and add a VGA card like the GTX 950.
i returned back to my friend but he never used a workstation and don't have enough info. about them if they are good for gaming or not so i can't decide what to do.
i've read some stuff on workstations i realized they are good for work not gaming

any one can advice me which is better for me ? a 600$ new PC or a 350$ used HP z600 workstation + a VGA ??

PS : i will use my new PC for gaming like world of warcraft, Battle Field , Dying light , etc ....
sorry for the long post guys ,
hope you can help me :)

I agree with nonsense, an i3 won't do any good as it's mostly good for Office usage.
Atleast go with an i5 and a PSU with atleast a +80 bronze signature.
