I've been waiting for pascal since last summer, and even got a STRIX 970 to hold me over. (Yeah, I know that sounds like BS hindsight. But I've been planning to sell this card when Pascal comes out from the very beginning.)
So now I am looking at the 1080 aftermarket cards. Every website has them out of stock, and when I search for anything related to restocking, I get articles from May saying "we will see real volume shipments in June"
Well it's July now, and despite every site being sold out, I hear no mention of this issue past June 15. All I see is a million more reviews for additional 1080 models that nobody can buy. The best I hear is that Nvidia tried to push their release far forward to beat any upcoming Radeon cards, but that there is a massive restock, or "actual release" as I've heard it called.
So what is the news on this? My brother is wanting to buy my 970, and I would like to sell it to him before prices rapidly drop.
