My Sata power cable is not long enough to connect to both my drives

Hey, I have an SSD and a HDD. The Sata power cable can connect three drives, but still cannot reach my SSD. Do I have to buy a Sata power extender or do I just plug another Sata power connector into my psu and hook the SSD up to that. Not sure whether the drives have to be hooked up using the same connections.

Thanks bro, just wanted to make sure it wasn't gonna make setting the drives up harder connecting them to 2 different Sata power cables thanks. As well as this ( I am a noob, I know so don't judge) do the Sata data drives have to connect to each other in any way or do you just use 2 cables. Also do you use the y shaped cable or the norm thanks a lot!!
